Immune Boosting Herbs

With everything going on I thought that I should share some of my favorite (proven) Immune Boosting Herbs. As most of you know I work with, use and sell herbs every single day. They are my absolute favorite practice when it comes to healing and spirit work. Plants, Herbs & Flowers hold many healing properties and there is pretty much a herb for anything, which is pretty damn amazing! So i'm going to share a few with you today.

I love to incorporate herbs daily into my diet usually through herbal tea but many of the herbs I will mention come in pill or vitamin form a well.

Elderberry: Used for its antioxidant and immune boosting properties. It's great for coughs, colds, flu, bacterial and viral infections. Used in herbal tea, Vitamin form, or Elderberry Syrup.

Echinacea: This is a very popular herb for boosting the immune system. It has been proven to reduce the severity and duration of the common cold. This is also a herb that can be taken over long periods of time to to boost the immune system.

Astragalus Root: Usually seen in a pill or tincture form. This is a herb that's been used for centuries, especially is Chinese medicine. I also love to use it in herbal tea blends. Use Astraglus Root at the onset of symptoms of cold or virus to boost your immune system and to reduce the duration of symptoms.

Goldenseal: An amazing herb that boosts the fighting power of other herbs especially when paired with Echinacea. Goldenseal is not a herb you want to take for long periods of time but it's great to use intermittently. Goldenseal has anti-fungal and has anti-infective properties which why this is an amazing herb to use for healing.

Garlic: This a great one because it is so easy to obtain and most of us have it already at home. Garlic is an amazing antibacterial and anti fungal herb. It is also an immune system enhancer. This is a great one to research because garlic has so many healing properties for the body. You can add garlic when cooking, to juices, or its said to rub garlic on the bottoms of your feet when suffering from the cold or flu to draw out the infection and toxins.

Tumeric: Also well know for its immune boosting properties. Tumeric also contains curcumin which contains powerful antioxidant and anti bacterial properties. Add Tumeric when cooking, to herbal teas or juices. Tumeric also comes in pill form.

I normally do make a ImmuniTEA Blend for the shop but for this Cold & Flu Season I did not unfortunately. So I do want to share with you the ingredients (I did mention most of them above) so you can make it for yourself and family or even come up with your own Immune Boosting Blend!

Sirens Serenity ImmuniTEA Blend:

Echinacea, Dried Elderberry, Ginger, Rose Hips, Astralgus Root.

You can find these herbs at your local botanica or metaphysical store, health food store or grocery store.

I am sending you all so much Love & Healing. I hope you all have a great weekend!
